### Bitcoin Bridging with BOB Gateway

Oku has integrated [BOB Gateway](https://docs.gobob.xyz/gateway), bringing native Bitcoin into Oku Bridge. Users can now move native BTC to EVM chains and back, directly from the bridge module. Supported networks include Ethereum, Base, Arbitrum, BNB, HyperEVM, Avalanche, and Unichain.

#### What is BOB Gateway?

BOB Gateway is a permissionless, intents and RFQ-based protocol for native Bitcoin swaps. It sources solver liquidity to give you competitive rates on native BTC, then verifies your Bitcoin transaction on-chain through BOB's Bitcoin Light Client before settling the output asset on the destination chain.

The result is a true Bitcoin to EVM route that stays non-custodial the whole way through. Your funds are never held by Oku or by any intermediary.

{% hint style="info" %}
The Bitcoin network is generally slower than most EVM networks. Processing time of your transaction may vary pending network conditions.
